Meer (Sea) is the collaboration of three forces. These are the image of the visible world composed through the individual eye of the camera composer, as well as their interpretation and unconventional montage by film editing, and, last but not least, Mochizuki’s music. The composition interacts with the image projection. She designs her own sound concepts from the metaphor of the sea as a spiritual mirror and utilizes the film images as an imaginary plane of sounds and silence.
