Instrument of the Year 2021
The organ is regarded as the “king of instruments” because of its magnificent appearance and almost limitless sound possibilities.
The year 2021 is all about the organ, the instrument of the year. We cordially invite you to discover Breitkopf & Härtel's extensive and diverse organ program!
And the Winner is ...
Breitkopf & Härtel’s new edition of Gustav Mahler's 4th Symphony received the Presto Music Sheet Award in the Category “Best Critical Edition.”
We are very happy about this award and warmly congratulate the Mahler-Team and our editor Christian Rudolf Riedel!
Music At Home
Also, in 2021, all of us have to stay at home due to fight and beat COVID-19.
This duty gives a variety of opportunities in practicing music, reading or doing other things at home only.
Please find Music At Home here.
250 Years of Beethoven
Dear Friends of Music,
At long last we are able to celebrate a major Beethoven anniversary!
Only those of us who are older can recall the last anniversary in 1977. But this is a reference point in the far distant past to guide us, for 43 years later, it now looks as if Breitkopf & Härtel has reinvented Beethoven.
