Tyrolean State Prize for Art 2025 Awarded to Johannes Maria Staud

Composer Johannes Maria Staud has been awarded the Tyrolean State Prize for Art 2025. The State of Tyrol is honoring him for his outstanding artistic achievements and his international standing as a leading figure in contemporary music. The award, which includes a prize of €14,000, will be presented on September 23, 2025, during the Festival of Culture at the House of Music in Innsbruck.
