Breitkopf & Härtel’s chamber music is a foray through the epochs – both for professional musicians and enthusiasts. Many of the works are available in Urtext editions and are thus suitable for university studies. Our chamber music catalog includes solo repertoire as well as works for larger ensembles (e.g. sextets or nonets). In addition to classical scorings, such as the string quartet or piano trio, you will also find early ensemble works with basso continuo, published in the Musica Rara series.
