  • Description

Characters: Viktoria (Soprano) – Karola/Vikerl (Mezzo-soprano) – Hansl (Countertenor) – Luis / Peter (Tenor) – Eugen (Baritone)

The many faces of the inconceivable (literally) Viktoria Savs fascinate me. She arouses in me a myriad of emotions: incomprehension, rage, perplexity, hatred, indignation, but also sadness and – I can’t hide it – compassion. The colors of her character inspire timbres. Like Viktoria herself, they often oscillate between the lines. I am also fascinated by the group dynamics of her environment and the reactions to her person. I see many parallels to our today. The relevance of the matter is almost uncanny to me. It's not an easy matter, but one rises to the challenges. For me that's what art and contemporary music are all about.
