The five-movement Sonata in G minor TWV 41:g6 by Georg Philipp Telemann was taken from Part III of the Tafelmusik. Ever since the publication of Volume 61/62 (1927) of the Denkmäler Deutscher Tonkunst, the work has belonged to the core stocks of Baroque oboe literature. The present edition is based on this publication, but the basso continuo numbering has been replaced by a realized keyboard part.
