  • Description

I composed this piece inspired by my interest in the guitar and my desire to meet the challenge of writing music for this instrument. While creating it, I developed, in line with the themes and features that distinguished my musical language, a writing that greatly expands and enriches the expressive and technical potential of the guitar. The piece is similar to a journey through the variations of recurring ostinato and the endless timbres and echoes that this instrument can reach. The work was written in the Berlin suburb of Friedenau, where I lived at that time.

(José M. Sánchez-Verdú, 2021)
