The basis for each piece in Négy tárgy is a pianistic “objet trouvé”, which can either be a particular piano texture, a certain playing technique or an instrument-specific sound possibility. A small, homogeneous musical microcosm is generated around this object. The pieces demand from the performer not only a highly-developed hands-on approach and reading ability, but also a creative, convincing and individual approach with regard to timbre, time and various gestures, especially when playing the not always comfortable actions inside the piano. Further, a “logistical” ability to master all these techniques confidently in harmony with the constructional requirements of the existing instrument is necessary.

2. Hado-nász | Flailing Marriage
3. Geóda és burjánzás | Geode and Overgrowth
4. Régi óra | Old Clock
