  • Description

Another sonata by Mozart, which brilliantly confirms once again that Mozart's piano style is ideally suited to the "flute and guitar" combination over wide stretches. Only a few octave changes had to be made in the original range, and these are clearly marked in the music text. Schäfer's arrangement faithfully follows the piano version in order to preserve Mozart's original sound structure for the interpreters as much as possible. Mozart thus remains Mozart, and the repertoire is enhanced by a beautiful and responsibly made addition.
