Free Organ Works of North German Baroque
Urtext
[org]
Description
In this edition, carefully edited by Klaus Beckmann, the well-known representatives of North German organ music between 1630 and 1730 have been deliberately excluded. Nevertheless, the selection of the twelve works reflects the manifold compositional styles and genres that characterize the organ music of this region and time. The result is a colorful palette from the baroque organ works of Northern Germany. In a way, the edition is to be understood as a rounding off of the picture, which has so far been mainly influenced by the so-called “Grandmasters”.
