Description

The pieces in the London Sketchbook offer the perfect introduction to the musical world of the young Mozart. They present his music in its original form, free from outside alterations. The composer – who was only eight years old at the time – experimented with a wide variety of musical forms and styles. This diversity is reflected in the present selection, which includes both solemn pieces and lively, dance-like ones.
