“... Back at home, at the instrument, I put myself in a relaxed state and connect inwardly with the place in question. Music emerges, I let it flow, give it form, give it time and space. IT plays, I just let it happen.
In each piece I start from a theme characteristic of the corresponding place and then let the music unfold freely. Nothing is written down. The only thing that counts is the place, its music and the play in the here and now.”
