  • Description

A considerable number of editions of the works of Bach have already been published all over the world. When we decided to present another edition of transcriptions it was for a special reason. While transcribing the arranger tries to keep the architectonic structure and intended effects of a work or to achieve these in the best manner possible. Herewith global decisions such as the choice of the key and many single determinations are of great imptortance, for instance whether it is more sensible to raise an octave a single bassnote only or a complete bassline. The musical content of a work or even a few measures have to be questioned again and again. During this process I obtained completely new results and with these editions I would like to present an alternative to all previous publications.
