  • Description

"The types of instruments (euphonium, flugelhorn, trumpet, piccolo trumpet and alphorn) used in this work have analogies in nature (fluidity as some thing universal, undetermined yet determinable) and the visual arts: to a capital on a column in the Romanic church of Oberstenfeld in Württemberg, on which are carved the spirits of the four ends of the world, whose utter ances are the source of bread and wine, as well as of the tree of life in the form of a lily."
(Adriana Hölszky)
