Leipzig Book Fair – Frankfurt Music Fair

Welcome to Breitkopf at the Leipzig Book Fair from 18 to 21 March 2010, and at the Frankfurt Music Fair from 24 to 27 March 2010. Our trade-fair teams are looking forward to seeing you in Hall 5 Stand B 308 (in Leipzig) and in Hall 3.1 Stand C 30 (in Frankfurt)!

Dates to note at the Leipzig Book Fair:

1)
Breitkopf author Ralf Wehner is the guest on the "Blue Sofa" and answers your questions concerning the MWV (Mendelssohn Thematic Catalogue) on 21 March 2010 at 5 pm. The Blue Sofa can be heard live on Deutschlandradio Kultur (LW). The program is also broadcast live on TV on ZDFinfokanal.
2) The previous day, on 20 March, students from the Clara Schumann Musikschule relate some very colorful short stories about black and white keys in excerpts from the "Konzert im Blumenbeet" by DVfM author Manfred Schmitz. The event takes place at 3 pm in the Musik-Café Klang Quartier in Hall 5.

Dates to note at the Frankfurt Music Fair:

1)
Breitkopf author Ralf Kleinehanding introduces his drum-set method "Drumroad" on 27 March 2010 at 3 pm in the Musikmesse-Forum Hall 3.Via (mezzanine level 3.0/3.1.), at the Kontrast hall.
2) Two hours earlier (1 pm), Breitkopf author Michael Dartsch speaks with Theo Geissler on the nmz-media-stage about the new VdM training plan "Musik für die Elementarstufe / Grundstufe" (music for the elementary/grade school levels). Dartsch is an outstanding expert on this topic: Breitkopf & Härtel will be publishing his book "Mensch, Musik und Bildung – Grundlagen einer Didaktik der Musikalischen Früherziehung" in the fall of 2010.
3) One day earlier, Breitkof author Ulrike Wohlwender reports about her work with Christoph Wagner's book "Hand und Instrument" (Wiesbaden: Breitkopf & Härtel, 2007) under the heading "Ein Händchen für die Musik." Exact time and place: 26 March, 12:30 pm, nmz-media-stage.
