Two new publications from Breitkopf & Härtel won a German Music Edition Award 2008: Peter Ryom's Vivaldi-Werkverzeichnis (RV) in the category "Musicological Books" and Book 1 of Eva-Maria Neumann's Geigenschule (published by the Deutscher Verlag für Musik in Leipzig) as "Best Edition" in the category "Educational and Pedagogical Literature for Children and Youths." The awards ceremony took place at the Frankfurt Music Fair on 14 March.
